FAQ

What’s a muffin top?

The muffin top is the excess waist fabric seen on all shirts from major fashion labels. It is the most prevalent fashion faux pas of the modern male. We see it in the halls of the executive suite, the dank tunnels of hoi polloi, the boarding lines of O’Hare and Heathrow. It looks ridiculous and unpolished. Science has also shown that women never go on second dates with men who wear muffin tops.

At 5th & Lamar, we're out to eliminate the muffin top and help men get second dates.

What's your return and exchange policy?

We have a pretty generous return and exchange policy, you can view it on our Returns & Exchanges page.

I love your shirts but they don't quite fit me. How do I return or exchange them?

Bummer! Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges page for step by step instructions on how to return or exchange a purchase.

Do you have a retail location?

Nope. Nor do we plan to build one in the near future. The reason is simple: no retail store means lower prices for you. We set out to build a company that sells awesome fitting shirts at a price you can build a wardrobe around. Avoiding the costs of a retail store allows us to do just that. Plus men hate retail shopping anyway. Why bother?

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to anywhere in the US and Canada.  Shipments to Canada do unfortunately cost a bit extra in terms of shipping, however.

Can I order multiple sizes and return the sizes that don’t fit?

Of course! That's why we offer free returns and exchanges.  Please note, however, that although we offer free shipping on orders over $150, if your final order total after returns does not exceed $150, we will charge for shipping.

Do you have any sales or promotions going on right now?

Because we keep our prices low and reasonable year round, we unfortunately never put our shirts on sale.  We do, however, offer free shipping on purchases over $150.  Please note, if your final order total after returns does not exceed $150, we will charge for shipping.

Why are some of your shirts out of stock? When will you be getting new ones?

This is a tough conversation to have... Unfortunately, most of our shirts are limited edition, and once they sell out, they're gone. They'll never be restocked. Ever. So if you see something you like, probably best to just grab it.

Do you offer different sleeve and neck sizes?

We try to keep things simple with our S/M/L/XL sizing, but we have started offering greater size selection for our most popular shirts, like the Blanco and Travis. Where did the name 5th & Lamar come from?

Where did the name 5th & Lamar come from?

5th & Lamar is short for a street intersection in Austin – 5th Street and Lamar Boulevard, a place the founders called home. Picking a company name was a surprisingly arduous task, so we asked our friends. 5th & Lamar was a runaway favorite.
